Candy DeBerry is a Professor in the Department of 生物学 and a member of the 生物化学 Steering Committee. 她教细胞生物学, 生物化学, a senior 生物化学 Seminar on cancer biology, 实验生物学, and the introductory course Foundations in 细胞与分子生物学. Dr. DeBerry strongly believes that undergraduate science education should involve in-depth research experiences for all students. She is the administrator for two programs which provide funding to W&J students to support summer off-campus research internships: the Merck Internships for Excellence in the Sciences program, and the Linton Endowment for Internships at the Marine Biological Laboratory at Woods Hole.
